On her 40th birthday, Sally's children decided to gift her with a brand new Samsung moment. She was used to using Samsung mobiles from the beginning, but she had an old model which was almost tattered. It was about time for an upgrade. She had always sacrificed for her kids and now they wanted to do something very special for her. She was not much of a gizmo freak and liked gadgets that were simple to use. When she opened her present, she jumped with joy and was really touched at her children's sweet gesture. She did admit that she would need help with samsung moment from the scratch. Her kids offered to teach her right away. Now making calls, maintaining her schedule all of it got so easy. Not only was it a slider phone, it also was a touch screen. Plus she loved the sleek model. At times she was afraid of misplacing it as she was not in the habit of using such an expensive phone. Her children asked her to relax and just enjoy her new phone and stay connected more often. |

As revealed in a report I was reading the other day the iPhone is the only gadget that is on the market at the present time and it does not have a user manual. Other gadget manufacturers have engaged in the war of creating a prestige manual for each one of their products but Apple has opted out of this battle even before engaging in it. The reason that Apple has given for this is that as a manufacturer of state of the art devices it is not obligated to make manuals for people to understand simple operations. This is very true since Apple has been known to contract manual creation services to other companies while it focuses on its core products. This is not a privilege that other gadget manufacturers enjoy as they do not have the same market share and customer loyalty that Apple enjoys. If another manufacturer was to pull a stunt like the one Apple has been pulling they would be out of the market in the blink of an eye. |

Most of the times when I am washing utensils in the house, I wear gloves because I do not want my hands to get destroyed and neither do I wish for my nails to break down. The only thing that I think I do wrong is that when I am working around the house and my phone rings, I do not bother to remove the gloves but I hold my phone with the gloves, and it is a touch screen in this case. I have realized that there are times when the screen goes white and there is no operation that can take place if this happens. My question is: Why Is My Ipod Touch Screen White and could it be that the gloves I hold it with are causing this. I read an instruction during my research for my question to find out why the screen turns white, and so I held the power and the home button until the whole screen went black, after some while everything was okay but then the screen went back to being white after some time. Do I need to work on something to ensure that my touch screen does not get spoilt? |

I can't help but think we are taking technology for granted in 2011. We're on the "upgrade treadmill" (I like to call it) where the latest smartphone is only good for a few months before rumours circulate online about its impending successor model. From surface mount devices to the ever-shrinking costs in RAM and CPU technology, hardware makers have taken advantage of lowering costs to give us gadgets we could only dream about even just ten years ago. And just as you spoil any child, you start to see that we consumers are becoming a little jaded with what's on offer. We want new form factors (that aren't forthcoming) - we want things to be even easier than they are now. We are never satisfied unless it's the latest release of a model, and even then, the excitement wanes after a few weeks. We don't even understand the amount of labour that goes into these devices - we just want the newest model and it had better be good! |

My friends and I went to Brazil last Christmas and we really had a great time. We took photos and videos and saved everything to my flash drive. One of my friends told me that I can hook up the flash drive to the television. I want to try this out so I can see the pictures and videos from a wider monitor. Our experience in Brazil is exceptional. There are just too many wonderful things that happened there and I get to bond with my friends well. I can’t wait to have a glimpse of the images the Brazil’s beaches again and recall its relaxing effect. But how to connect flash drive to tv? I heard from a friend that this is possible. I will call her up later this day and invite her to come over our house for lunch. I am so excited to show our trip to my family. I am certain that they will love the beautiful sceneries of Brazil, especially the beaches. I want to be there again soon but this time, I want to bring my family along. |

When I first heard of ICQ accounts, I was very eager to sign up an account in that site. It seemed as a very good site then. My boss decided to help all of us in the office to open up accounts with ICQ as it was fast in relaying messages from one user to the other. We did the signing up successfully and we started using our new accounts immediately. After a while, my account started developing an ICQ problem. I could not connect to the server and I was getting really stressed out because I was not able to connect to my colleagues. I sought help from one of our IT guys and they asked me if I normally signed up at home before coming to the office. In fact I had a habit of leaving my account signed in all the time in my home computer and this was the reason I was having these problems with ICQ. The following day I made sure I was signed out before leaving my house and that particular day, I did not have any problems connecting to my server. |

At times it will come to your attention that your phone is behaving in a manner that is not pleasing at all because at times when may not be able to receive calls, ether because the key pads are spoilt or it has another problem that you may not know of. Being in a situation where you know what the problem is, you can be able to look for appropriate solution but if you are in the dark then it is not easy at all for one to figure out the solution. I have realized that one can be able to sort some of these problems because if for example your phone has problems because it fell into water all you need to do is separate the parts and put them on a surface like a table to dry. When all the water is gone then you can put the parts together and put the phone on to see if it is working. Most likely at this time it will be working. However, if you have a an orange problem, you should seek help from the orange people. You can either go their office or send them a mail. |
