Give a Personal Touch with Personalised Emails

Selling online is not everybody's forte. As I sell in a competitive market - clutch bags - I know one has to know the nitty-gritty of selling thing online. First start by selling one product and if the response is good search for the website where one can sell many other products. Always remember that the customer is the king and one should always keep the customer's interest in mind while selling online. The products they would like to see, any suggestions from them should be accepted and implemented as early as possible. People are busy nowadays so while selling online, one should always give the details of the product that is placed for sell, the color, shape, price along with a photograph of the item. Keep a good customer base and send out greetings and promotional previews. There should be an automated greeting that should keep sending greetings to them on special occasions. This keeps the customer involved and gives a feeling of personal touch.

These Shoes Don't Look Like They're Made for Walking

posted on 12 March 2012

For the past year now I've owned a pair of black sneakers. Rough around the edges, rubber tips on the toes, and the constant look of nearly falling apart, yet never before have they failed me. I purchased them on a suggestion from my girlfriend who I was to meet in Spain, awkwardly enough with my mother with me in the store as she insisted on coming. As she was off looking for a pair of the usual loafers so I could be a "nice young man", as she would put it, I knew right as I saw the pitch black sneakers that those were the ones I must have. They fit me just right (hard for thin size 13) but certainly weren't afraid of looking instantly dirty the second I'd accidentally step into a puddle, or leaking from rain, or even threatening to fall apart from any sort of abuse whatsoever. Nevertheless, I've been using them for nearly a year now and I don't know how it's possible, but they've kept in one piece and have carried me through two European trips and one of the harshest winters I've seen yet. My girlfriend sensibly wears ladies Wellies on the filthiest of days, while I faithfully stick to my black sneakers. They truly mean a lot to me. And for your information, my girlfriend approves.

Tennis Shoes are the Best Shoes for Me

posted on 24 December 2011

My favorite type of shoe would have to be tennis shoes. There is no competition with them. They are comfortable and they go with basically any casual outfit. They come in a variety of colors and you can get a decent pair for not a lot of money. They tend to be really durable, even the cheap pairs I have purchased have lasted me for years at a time. I wear them when I go running, hiking, any exercise, really. I wear them everyday. I wear them to school, to work and when I go shopping. When I find a really great pair of tennis shoes I hold onto them forever. I am still wearing a ratty old pair that is falling apart, but I can't bring myself to part with them. I also love that you can change out the laces for a low-cost, new look. Tennis shoes really are the best type of shoe.

Cheese Fancy Dress: I Want to Get Bitten

posted on 5 November 2011

My sister used to say that she didn't eat cheese because she liked it too much. This idea surprised me, so I asked some other girls - and they all told me something similar: either they liked cheese and did not eat it ("It makes me fat!") or they just ate it, a LOT. So, when John told me about a fancy dress party - when thinking of fancy dress costumes I thought: Let's dress up like a giant cheese! Girls will bite me - at least some of them. Ok, so first, I bought a big yellow, cheap t-shirt. Then I bought white pants - this was not the best option, but I could not find yellow pants! Not so satisfied, I got my laptop and created a giant, fake, cheese barcode. I Had it printed and nailed to the front of my t-shirt, went to the party. It did not work well, I have to say. But I still think that a giant piece of cheese is one of the sexiest fancy dress ever. But nobody is going to bite you, be sure of that.

My Favorite Handag: a Bag by the Bijoux Terner Factory

posted on 15 October 2011

When venturing out in today's ever changing world, you have to be fully prepared. And, so having to hold a nice, easy-to-carry handbag is very important - whether it's one of those funky gold clutch bags, or a black shoulder bag. My favorite handbag comes from the company Bijoux Terner(a newer company, that has a variety of cheaper products). It is a neutral color and is very durabledesigned to withstand wear snd tear. I have several handbags from this company, in about three other basic colors, designed to go with any outfit. I shop like this so that I can maximize the potential of my dollar, thereby maintaining affordabilty and style simultaneusly. I usually pack my most needed items in there such as: make-up, money, cards, my cell phone, a notepad and other miscellaneous accessories. Traveling with a handbag would make life much more easier. It would increase your quality of life by allowing you to do more. It would also prevent you from losing stuff for the most part.

Oh to Yearn for that Summer Day

posted on 28 April 2011

If you are a fan of the blazing sun and heat, then a hot summer day beckons you outdoors. Those who crave such a day have their setup planned and ready to execute. Their special chair is sitting in the spot that is going to get plenty of shade, but with some sun peaking in for good reading light. That chair has, either, a small table or it’s near a natural high landing that is the perfect height to set a drink on. As ridiculous as it sounds, the perfect hot weather outfit is picked out. After all, you need to wear something comfortable that will keep you cool in that hot air. From my escape ladies shoes to my white t-shirt, I like to dress casually, but with raised heels. Finally, after the chair in the perfect spot with your beverage is all set, all that’s missing is your form of entertainment. Whether it be the radio, reading material or nice cigar, you are now ready to sit back and enjoy a hot and sunny summer day.

Chinese pearls

posted on 12 March 2011

At the present time China is the only commercial producer of freshwater pearls. They produce around 1500 tonnes using the triangle shell mussel (Hyriopsis cumingii) and there are also several hybrids which have shown heterosis from several mussel species. The grafting process will begin with choosing suitable donor mussel and cutting a strip of tissue from the mantle which is then cut into 3mm squares. A technician then performs the relatively simple process of making small incisions on the upper valve and then inserting a piece of tissue. It is thought that by putting a small twist in the tissue on insertion will produce a rounder pearl. When the maximum number of grafts have been performed the mussel is turned over and the procedure repeated on the other valve of the shell. The fact that this process can be carried out relatively easily with quite a large number of pearls being produced per mollusk means that pearl jewellery has become much more affordable.
