Who would have known that a ten year old girl, in the person of Maria Aragon, could catch the attention of a superstar? No one saw it coming, not even Maria, whose only dream was to let her music be heard. When her sisters uploaded her video on YouTube, they did not think it would make so many hits. But Maria's rendition of Beautiful which is a cover by lady gaga, caught the world by surprise. Everyone who has seen the video could not help but express their admiration for the little girl. Just recently, her popularity brought her back to her roots in the Philippines. As soon as she got out from the airport, fans were shouting her name. Maria was overwhelmed by such a warm welcome. She told reporters how much she wanted to see the Philippines a long time ago, but circumstances have prevented her from doing so. But she is thankful that today, she finally gets to come home. She is just happy to see her relatives for the first time and now she knows how much she is loved in the Philippines. |

Mom, please don't be mad at me for what I am about to do. You know I love you and I don't mean to be disrespectful. God knows how I wanted to tell you but I just could not find the courage to do so. I am too afraid you won't allow me to go if you find out. Mom, I will be home late tonight because as we speak now, I am on my way to a show that will feature kelly brook. You know I adore her, don't you? I told you time and again how much I want to see her in person and now that an opportunity like this has come, I can't let it pass me by just because my mom does not think I am responsible enough to take care of myself. I am with Lily and Tina. Their parents know and they are driving us home later so you need not worry about how I am going to get home. I am sorry, mom. But I cannot miss the show. I hope you understand. |

I have been busy lately not to have time to visit some of my accounts. Facebook account is one of those that I have always liked yet I have not got enough time to check in and know if there is anything new. In as much as there is a lot to enjoy in facebook that I would like to visit everyday and have fun like many others, I admit that there are other things that I do that are of more value than what facebook would offer. I would not compromise my daily duty at work place or in school to join facebook. Yet these are the things that I have been doing that have denied me the chance to visit facebook as frequent as I did before. What I do not know is how to verify my facebook account after taking this long before I could visit it. But I only hope that there is more that I would still be able to enjoy like I used to before to give me a reason to maintain my account with Facebook. |

To be honest, I signed up for Linked-In at least three years ago, and I haven’t gotten a lot of use out of it. I was hoping to connect with all kinds of businesses that could help my own startup - from corporate brochure design companies to web developers. I posted a profile and found a couple of people I know to connect with, and then nothing much happened for at least a year. I forgot I had the account, then one day I got a notice that the original person whose profile I had wanted to look at wanted to connect with me, so I logged in and connected and completely changed and updated my profile and forgot all about it again. Another year or so passed, and I got a notice that someone I write articles for wanted to Link-Up, so I logged in, connected, completely changed and updated my profile and signed out. Again, nothing happened after that. About six months ago, I got a notice that my sister wanted to Link-Up, so I repeated the whole process again. Really, I think Linked-In should have some sort of newsletter or something they send out. I completely forget about them in between linking up with people. |

The country of UK is usually governed under leaders who are always alert. To them, there is nothing that is too petty to be looked into that could build up the economy of the country. This may be a clear reason why the country is so developed unlike many other countries around the globe. Their secret is majorly based on the cooperation that exists between the government and the citizens where all work together to see to it that all is well in the country. When you decide to join any group, there are certain rules and regulations that need to be followed for one to be a complete member. These rules are usually set in place so that people can avoid misunderstandings and also set the standards of all the members in place. For facebook members, there are certain rules and regulations which are set in place to ensure that there are no abusers of this site that do not end up being punished and so that people can have trust in this site. Facebook rules are very easy to understand and follow if you are joining it for the right purpose. If you decide that you do not want to be part and parcel of these rules, and then it is better that you do not join facebook for your own good. Following rules can sometimes be boring, but it is very important that we take note of what the consequences may turn out to be if we decide to disobey. With rules, everything runs smoothly compared to where there are no rules. |

There are some leaders I look at and I wonder how they came to that position. These are the old people whom only other people understand. I get really bored when it comes to watching news, especially when it is politicians addressing a certain matter. In my opinion, politics is really boring but this changed a little bit when arnold schwarzenegger became a governor. I actually envied the state of California because they had one of the greatest men as their leaders. arnold Schwarzenegger is one of my favorite actors of all times, the series of the ‘Terminator’ was what made me fall in love with the guy. He has never gotten in serious scandals apart from that one time when he was campaigning for being governor and there were allegations that he was adulterous, the allegations did not hold water though. What makes him a good leader is that even during his acting career he was actively involved in to politics. He stood out from the other celebrities because he was a self proclaims republican which is contrary to most celebrities who are in to democracy instead. The reason why this one politician is an interest to me is because I know how he came to be in that position. |

Here they are able to chat to so many funs who are interested in their music and if there are any changes then they would tell them on what they can change. Many of the celebrities have benefited a lot from this social website. Any internet user who has signed up with myspace account. once they log in to their account they get to see all the myspace posts that have been posted. Then they would comment on any that they would feel that they should do. The comments are listed down so that all the users will be able to see what has been commented and so they can continue with the comment thread if they feel they want to. Myspace has become a celebrity site where you get to meet all the gossips about the celebrities and at times you get to chat with them. |

Often when business owners view graffiti around their neighborhoods, it is perceived as a nuisance. Tagging is considered another factor in gangs marking their territory and having graffiti in your neighborhood may make you feel a bit uncomfortable. In the last 30 years a movement has begun with the creation of graffiti. Graffiti can now be considered a form of urban art. It's even sold as canvas art prints commercially. Just looking at the amount of detail and the powerful messages in many of the spontaneous works of art, really can make you stop and think about how much talent it really takes to make one of these creations. With the lack of funding for art education, children are literally taking their art to the streets. Graffiti art is a product of the movement away from traditional art education into a more practical urban form of art. Many children living in urban communities cannot afford to spend $30 on a small container of oil paint, but can afford the $2 for a can of spray paint. This type of art is a product of our communities and our economies. We need to embrace it. |
